Summary: we collect what we need to run your account and grade your practice, we never sell your data, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
What we collect
- Account details from Google Sign-In: your name, email address and profile photo.
- Learning data: encounters you complete, scores, XP, streaks, league position, achievements and settings such as your daily goal and region.
- Encounter content: the questions you type or speak to AI patients and their responses, so we can grade the encounter and show you feedback.
- Social data if you use it: who you follow, reactions and comments in the feed.
- Payment status if you subscribe. Payments are handled by Stripe, and we never receive or store your card number.
How we use it
- To run your account and sync your progress across devices.
- To generate patient responses and grade your encounters.
- To show leaderboards, the community feed and notifications.
- To improve Sushruta, for example by understanding which features are used.
Service providers
We rely on trusted providers to operate the service: Google Firebase (authentication and database), Google Gemini (AI patient conversations, voice and grading), Stripe (payments) and Vercel (hosting). They process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.
Voice
When you use voice mode, audio is streamed to the AI provider to generate the patient's reply in real time. We don't keep recordings of your voice.
Public information
Your display name, handle, level, league and achievements may be visible to other users on leaderboards, profiles and the feed.
Your choices
- You can update your profile and daily-goal settings in the app.
- You can cancel a subscription at any time from your profile.
- You can request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing support@darthwares.com.
Children
Sushruta is designed for medical students and is not intended for children under 16.
